Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

What Holistic or Natural Approach I Would Take If Diagnosed With Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

The first thing I would NOT do is take any anti-depressants.  They are of limited effectiveness and what small amount of good they do, the effects do not last longer than a month or two. I will re-read Dr. David Brownstein's book Drugs That Don't Work and Natural Therapies That Do! to fully understand why these drugs are not helpful.  They also can lead to suicide. 

I suspect that a lot of the problems with patients (especially military) with PTSD is that the number of vaccines they were given disrupted a good portion of their gut flora, which (like an autistic child) made it difficult for them to process their experiences.  This would be especially damaging to those soldiers exposed to combat. 

This regimen is designed to address my depression, restore the gut flora in my stomach, and eliminate neurotoxins entering my body.   

Here is what I will take:

  • 5,000 to 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 (with meals)
  • 5,000 mgs of Niacin (Vitamin B3), starting at 500 mgs and increasing gradually (with meals)
  • I will make fermented vegetables and eat about 1/3 cup daily.  My gut flora is likely out of balance.  If, for some reason, I cannot tolerate eating fermented vegetables, I will take a variety of probiotic capsules.  I understand these are not as effective as eating the vegetables, but it is better than not doing this step at all.
  • I will take Cod Liver Oil daily,
  • I will take a good B-Complex supplement rich in Vitamins B1 and B6
  • I will take zinc (50 to 150 mgs) daily
  • I will take an Omega-7 Oil capsule daily, with meals,
  • I will take Chlorella tablets, 2 to 4, daily to help remove heavy metals that may still be in my body,
  • Likewise, I will take 5 grams of Vitamin C daily, for the same purpose,
  • I will apply 10 to 15 drops of Lugol's Solution iodine to my skin daily, rubbing it into my skin and letting it be absorbed by my body.  Not only will this help my thyroid work properly, it, like the prior two steps, help in my body being able to eliminate heavy metals. 


I will also drink my special morning tea blend of 16 ounces warm water (heated to about 115 degrees F), 2 teaspoons virgin, organic coconut oil, 1 teaspoons local, raw, organic honey, and the juice of 1 organic lemon (one-half the lemon if they are quite large). 

I will also eliminate the following toxins from my life:

Sodium Fluoride - find a toothpaste such as Desert Essence that is made without fluoride.  Also, buy a water filter, such as Berkeley, that filters out fluoride.

Aluminum - stop using antiperspirants.  I recommend a deodorant from Primal Pit Paste instead.  Do not use non-stick cookware or any cookware made with aluminum. 

Mercury - if you have any amalgam filings in your teeth, have them removed and replace with composite by a dentist especially trained in this procedure.   Do NOT take any further vaccines, including the flu shot as it contains a very high does of mercury AND aluminum which are both neurotoxins.

Tourette's Syndrome

What Holistic or Natural Approach I would Take if I was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome

Here is what I would do if I was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome.   This definitely is not as easy as taking a pill, but the results are worth it.  First of all, I will not take any vaccines.  The levels of mercury and aluminum in all vaccines are so high (for example, 200 parts per billion of mercury is considered hazardous waste.  Vaccines, including the flu shot, often contain levels of 50,000 parts per billion.  The levels of aluminum are also dangerous).  Both are known neuro-toxins.  Regardless of how you feel about vaccines, the level of toxic metals in vaccines cannot be denied. 
 
I will begin by taking:
    • CoQ10 (ubiquinol form) - 600 mgs daily
    • Magnesium Chloride (spritz about 15 shots on skin and rub in with your inner forearm just before bed)
    • Lugol’s solution Iodine (a blend of iodine and potassium iodide), about 10 to 15 drops on my skin, rubbing it in with my forearm, daily. 
    • Coconut Oil  - 5 tablespoons daily (work slowly up to this level as coconut oil also acts as a laxative)
    • I will make fermented vegetables and eat about 1/2 cup daily.  My gut flora is likely out of balance. 
    • Vitamin D3 - 10,000 iu daily
    • Carnosine - 1,500 mgs daily
    • PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline) - 60 mgs daily
    • I will begin a juicing program, starting with one large glass of juice each day and increasing to two as my body detoxifies.  I will make my juice especially rich in green leafy vegetables such as kale and spinach.   I will follow the guidelines laid out in my book Just Do This One Thing: A Guide to  Chronic Good Health
    • Vitamin C - 5 grams daily
    • Vitamin B Complex - high potency with folic acid
    • I will eliminate all Wheat, Corn and Soy from my diet and eat no gluten.
    • I will take Cod Liver Oil daily,
  • I will take Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12)   - 1 mg (1,000 mcgs)  also daily
  • I will take Creatine powder, 1/4 teas twice daily
  • I will eliminate any food marked "diet" or "lite."  Ensuring I get NO artificial sweeteners in my diet
  • I will eliminate MSG in my diet, checking food labels and asking restaurants in which I dine if they add this poison to their foods.


I will also eliminate the following toxins from my life:


Fluoride – buy and use a non-fluoridated toothpaste.  Tom’s of Maine makes several as does Desert Essence.  Fluoride is an industrial waste poison which has never been shown to reduce or prevent tooth decay.

Mercury – have all mercury amalgam fillings removed from your mouth by a dentist especially trained in this.   The amalgam bleed mercury into you system for decades following the implant.  Also avoid all vaccines (including flu shots) for they also contain mercury which is used as a preservative. 

Lead - check for lead warnings on bottles of balsamic vinegar.
Aluminum – Aluminum is most frequently found in antiperspirants.  Begin using a deodorant which does not contain aluminum.  I will consider products from Primal Pit Paste  Also get rid of all aluminum cooking pans as the aluminum leeches into the food as it cooks.

Cirrhosis and Hepatitis C

What Holistic or Natural Approach I would Take if I was Diagnosed with Cirrhosis or Hepatitis C.

Here is what I would do if I was diagnosed with Chirrhosis:  
 
    • Every morning I will take an organic lemon, cut it in half and squeeze out the juice.  An entire lemon, if it is small and half of the lemon if it is large.   I will put that juice into water between 80 and 110 degrees F.   To that I will add about 2 teaspoons of organic, raw, cold-pressed coconut oil.  I will also add about 2 teaspoons of raw, organic honey.  I will drink this first in the morning on an empty stomach.  This will help detoxify my liver.
    • I will take Silymarin daily.  This Milk Thistle extract has been shown to be effective in healing the liver of alcoholic liver syndrome.  I will take 1 to 3 capsules daily.
    • The next thing I will do is start taking coffee enemas.  I will initially do one enema per day for about 2 weeks then cut back to four times per week.
    • I will begin a juicing program, starting with one large glass of juice each day and increasing to two as my body detoxifies.  I will make my juice especially rich in green leafy vegetables such as kale, spinach, and parsley.   I will follow the guidelines laid out in my book  Just Do This One Thing: A Guide to  Chronic Good Health
    • I will begin applying castor oil packs to my skin above my liver.
 

I will also eliminate the following toxins from my life:

Fluoride – buy and use a non-fluoridated toothpaste.  Tom’s of Maine makes several.  Fluoride is an industrial waste poison which has never been shown to reduce or prevent tooth decay.
Mercury – have all mercury amalgam fillings removed from your mouth by a dentist especially trained in this.   The amalgam bleed mercury into you system for decades following the implant.  Also avoid all vaccines (including flu shots) for they also contain mercury which is used as a preservative. 

Lead - check for lead warnings on bottles of balsamic vinegar.
Aluminum – Aluminum is most frequently found in antiperspirants.  Begin using a deodorant which does not contain aluminum.  Tom of Maine’s also makes these types of products.  Also get rid of all aluminum cooking pans as the aluminum leeches into the food as it cooks.

Autism & Aspergers

What Holistic or Natural Approach I would Take if My Child was Diagnosed with Autism or Aspergers

Here is what I would do if my child was diagnosed with Autism or Aspergers.   These steps have been proven effective in minimizing the effects of both syndromes.  This definitely is not as easy as taking a pill, but the results are worth it.  First of all, I will not give my child any vaccines.  The levels of mercury and aluminum in all vaccines are so high (for example, 200 parts per billion of mercury is considered hazardous waste.  Vaccines often contain levels of 50,000 parts per billion.  The levels of aluminum are also dangerous).  Both are known neuro-toxins.  Regardless of how you feel about vaccines, the level of toxic metals in vaccines cannot be denied.  If I decided to go forward with vaccines, I would never allow more than one vaccine to be given at a time.  There would have to be at least a period of one month between each vaccine. 


The very first thing I will do for my child is to
    • I will make fermented vegetables and feed my child about 1/3 cup daily.  My child's gut flora is likely out of balance. 

    •  I will add Cod Liver Oil, daily to my child's diet.  The sooner you start your child on this protocol, the more effective it will be. 

    • I will give my child no sugar
    • I will begin a juicing program, starting with one large glass of juice each day and increasing to two as my body detoxifies.  I will make my juice especially rich in green leafy vegetables such as kale and spinach.   I will follow the guidelines laid out in my book Just Do This One Thing: A Guide to  Chronic Good Health
    • I will eliminate all Wheat, Corn and Soy from my child's diet and eat no gluten.
    • I will add virgin, organic, cold-pressed coconut oil, about 2 ounces, to my child's diet daily.

I will also eliminate the following toxins from my child's life:

Fluoride – buy and use a non-fluoridated toothpaste.  Tom’s of Maine and Desert Essence make several.  Fluoride is an industrial waste poison which has never been shown to reduce or prevent tooth decay.
Mercury – have all mercury amalgam fillings removed from your mouth by a dentist especially trained in this.   The amalgam bleed mercury into you system for decades following the implant.  Also avoid all vaccines (including flu shots) for they also contain mercury which is used as a preservative. 

Lead - check for lead warnings on bottles of balsamic vinegar.
Aluminum – Aluminum is most frequently found in antiperspirants.  Begin using a deodorant which does not contain aluminum.  Tom of Maine’s also makes these types of products.  Also get rid of all aluminum cooking pans as the aluminum leeches into the food as it cooks.

Vitiligo

Here is what I would do if diagnosed with Vitiligo:

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

What Holistic or Natural Approach I would Take if Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis

Here is what I would do if diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  Many of these nutrients help preserve existing mitochondria in the body and aid in building new mitochondria as well:
  • Magnesium Chloride (spritz about 15 shots on skin and rub in with your inner forearm just before bed)
  • Vitamin D3 - 10,000 iu daily
  • Carnosine - 1,500 mgs daily
  • PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline) - 60 mgs daily
  • Biotin - 600 mcgs daily
  • Vitamin K2 - 2,000 mcgs daily (higher doses if necessary)
  • I will make fermented vegetables and eat about 1/3 cup daily.  My gut flora is likely out of balance. 
  • I will begin a juicing program, starting with one large glass of juice each day and increasing to two as my body detoxifies.  I will make my juice especially rich in green leafy vegetables such as kale and spinach.   I will follow the guidelines laid out in my book Just Do This One Thing: A Guide to  Chronic Good Health
  • Vitamin C - 5 grams daily
  • Coconut Oil  - 5 tablespoons daily (work slowly up to this level as coconut oil also acts as a laxative)
  • I will eliminate all Wheat, Corn and Soy from my diet and eat no gluten.
  • I will take Cod Liver Oil daily, preferably Carlson's,
  • Resveratrol  - 750 mgs daily
  • Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12)   - 1 mg (1,000 mcgs)  also daily
  • Creatine powder, 1/4 teas twice daily
  • I will have all of my mercury amalgam fillings safely removed by a dentist who has been trained in this procedure.

Varicose Veins

What Natural or Holistic Path I Would Take If Diagnosed With Varicose Veins

Here is what I would do if diagnosed with Varicose Veins.  This is the order of the most likely to work to the least likely:
  • I will take Vitamin K2 daily, 1,000 to 2,000 mcgs
  • I will take magnesium oil (preferably from Ancient Minerals) daily.  I will spritz about 15 shots onto my skin, rubbing it in with my forearm.  I will likely do this just before bedtime. I will also be patient, knowing that it takes about 4 months of application before the magnesium becomes part of my cells and is then most effective
  • I will stop using all artificial chemical sweeteners such as aspartame, Splenda, and saccharine.  I will also stop eating anything containing monosodium glutamate (MSG) as well as glutamic acid (which is just another name for MSG).  To sweeten my foods, I will instead us local, raw, organic honey. 
  • I will stop using refined sugar and all high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). 
  • I will take 5,000 mgs of Vitamin C daily (6 days a week), 
  • I will eliminate all genetically modified foods from my diet including wheat, corn and especially soy and also eliminate all vegetable oils such as canola, corn, cottonseed and soybean.
  • I will take Zinc daily, 50 to 150 mgs daily (6 days a week)
  • I will take Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) 5 mgs daily
  • I will take a good B-Complex vitamin mixture daily

Alcoholism and Addiction


What Natural or Holistic Approach I Would Take If Diagnosed with Alcoholism or other Addiction

It has been found that many addictions often start in people who have issues with depression.  I would immediately follow the advice about which I have already written in my article on depression.

I will also immediately stop eating all sugar, sugar-substitutes, wheat, corn and soy.  All five cause havoc in my body, with the last three being GMO.  None are healthy for me to eat. In fact, wheat causes a type of addiction which could feed into my alcohol addition. 

I will also take 50 to 100 mgs of zinc, daily


I would also improve my diet, ensuring I am eating organic foods, grass-fed beef, free-range, organic chicken and juicing raw, organic vegetables.   This will aid in the healing of my body, my liver and ultimately clear the fog from my brain.

Infertility/conception problems

What holistic path I would take if my wife and I had problems with conception and infertility.

Before I EVER considered going to a fertility clinic and paying the exorbitant fees, here are the first things I would do:


  • I would eliminate all soy and soy by-products from the diets of both me and my wife
  • We will stop consuming all sugar and sugar substitutes such as Splenda and aspartame. We will not drink any sodas, including diet sodas.
  • Both my wife and I will start drinking whole, raw (non-pasteurized, non-homogenized) milk every day (about 10 ounces)
  • We will take magnesium oil (preferably from Ancient Minerals) daily.  I will spritz about 15 shots onto my skin, rubbing it in with my forearm.  I will likely do this just before bedtime. I will also be patient, knowing that it takes about 4 months of application before the magnesium becomes part of my cells and is then most effective
  • We will take iodine in the form of Lugol's Solution (a mix of iodine and potassium iodide). I will alternate between applying it to my skin and adding to water and drinking it.  About 10 to 15 drops per day. 
  • We will stop eating all genetically modified foods (GMOs) as it has been recently shown that Monsanto's Roundup (of which GMOs have been saturated) inhibit conception.  So, I will shop for organic vegetables only and avoid all foods containing Corn, Wheat and once again SOY.
  • I will drink my magic morning elixir I describe in my book Just Do This One Thing: A Guide To Chronic Good Health.  Each morning I will take an organic lemon, cut it open and squeeze the juice of half into a coffee mug.  To that I will start by adding 1 teaspoon virgin, organic coconut oil and then pour 12 ounces of warm water (approximately 115 degrees F) over the mixture.  If the taste was too tart, I will add 2 teaspoons of raw, organic honey.  Each week, I will increase the amount of coconut oil by 1 teaspoon.   I will keep doing this until I am taking 3 to 5 tablespoons a day.
  • I will drink bone broth daily.
  • I will take Cod Liver Oil, daily
  • I will have all mercury amalgam fillings removed from my mouth by a dentist specially trained to safely removed them.
Sound too good to be true?  Don't let that stop you.
